Pheweww what a day today.
Our friend Jeff Chip arrived at 8.30am just in time for us to throw the door keys at him & leave for Drismore to drop the car off again for more new parts. Coffee first, then off to the movies to see Percy Jackson & the Lightning Thief. A bit of a kids movie but nevertheless great special effects & we were the only people in there, exept for the young couple behind us doin some HEAVY petting, i can almost remember being in my real early teens & getting hot & heavy in the back row.
I saw the poor young guy when they came out he looked like he had blue balls right up to his neck & his girlfriend, hmm i will be polite, looked like she had lost a fight with a windtunnel
Came out picked up the car $1,300.00 lighter. Jeez its just like a new one ( almost ) still needs a catalytic converter to stop it sounding like a bunch of marbles in a really big tin box, not a good sound for yer car.
While we were out Jeff has been looking at houses in Nimbin............and scored one, hoo hoo, should be moving in within a couple of weeks. Goodonya buddy.
Anyhoo we got home late this arvo, & of course the sun was over the yardarm, so drinks away.
Im so bloody out of condition boozewise, these days im not even good for one botle of JD without a bit of a snooze lol. Having a social afternoon helped things right along. We started off with a trip to the Bowling club to stock up. Jeff being Jeff has'nt even got the keys to his house yet but signed up & become a member of the club. Thats moving . so we get back home a few JD's a couple of spliffys Gary lobbed up then Nick, then dinner & i hate to say it.....a quick spinout for me.............Oh the shame of it.
Ohh BIG NEWS Shabayah put the rubbish bins out. ( first time since Moses wore nappies ).
I cant complain though, she did cook a wonderful dinner & put up with us getting pissed & carriyng on.
I woke up & she went to bed. Cant beat shiftwork on the homefront eh. As i m writing this Jeff is out like a light snoring away on the lounge chair.
Now here is a question for you.
What looks like an angel & sounds like a walrus ?
A woman sleeping !
I guess i will get a slap upside the head for that little comment.
