Bee Keeping

Hmmm its been quite a while since i have blogged & seem to have plenty to say,,,,,untill i sit down at the keyboard.
With much trepidation we are about to become bee keepers. Im still not sure about this, but the fact is we go through so much honey feeding the lorakeets its cheaper for us to make our own.
I have just been reaading up on the joys of beekeeping, & have come to the realisation there seems to be of lot of stinging, swarming & going to monthly meets with other likeminded souls involved.
i was just checking on a couple of bee sites today & jeez they are a nerdy looking bunch. ( i will most prob be crucified for that statment )
Today i was just clearing up a downed tree & got bitten/stung more times in more places than i care to mention, & that was without bees. So to say im shitting myself is an understatment, (big brave me).
Oh crap now i have lost interest.
