Sigh, another day of no power for most of the day while CUNTry energy replaced a couple of poles & stood ours upright again, & then a couple of frustrating hours trying to get 1 webcam,,, any webcam working on my desktop. I borrowed a webcam from Nick across the road, but of course he bought that one in japan & lost the installation disc.
So a half hour of muddling my way through a maze of japanese sites trying to find drivers for said camera, found drivers downloaded them only to find the puter couldnt even recognise the camera let alone the drivers.arghhhhh.
Im really loathe to spend money on a firewire card & or new camera untill i know its going to work.
You know sometimes i feel the universe is having a laugh at my expense. I mean i have a simple request, to get my webcams going again so i can play with my wireless camera's & so forth.
now im fairy cluey when it comes to personal confusers, but this old one of dads is going to make my brain explode. That old bugger is looking down pissing himself laughing at me now. Good on yer dad.
Just to add insult to injury i have not one but two DV camera's that will make awesome webcams, if i ever get something working
OH,,,,,,,, its raining again , fancy that !
PS: at least i had a bit of fun buzzing Shabayah with my helicopter, untill she threatened to swot it out of the sky.
Jeez she's got a short fuse when it comes to little helicopters, snigger.
