Well our family grew by 6 today, Kylie,Ruby,fynn,Darcy, Jaidyn & Ma kylie all here for a week untill the new house is finished.
Hmmmm i wonder how i will go ??

Ah Crap

Its just one of those days. I made the mistake of buying a cheap paint roller cos i only wanted a little one & thats all they had, a cheap shit one.
So i go home unpack my cheapshit roller give it a good wipe to remove any loose fibres, then start appling polyurathane laquer to my table Within thirty seconds i discovered that even paint rollers can get mange.It was at the same moment of discovery  when the fucking handle snapped off . So now there is more fibres on top of the table than on the roller.I should point out that this is the second time i have done the top of said table, because last time at the moment of application we had a massive rain storm for a couple of seconds. Just enoug.h to knock loose some dust from the roof.
So much for a quick little job on the old table out on the verandah.
I still have the benches to do.................arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Buzzzzzzz

Well we finally got our BeeHive, now we have to wait a week for them to get oriented. Then i can start getting stung. I hope not,,,,,,,,they were very placid when we picked them up.
Now the person who helped us move them ( who shall remain nameless ) listened to all that was said about being calm & quiet around the little fellas, went straight into screaming & shouting & banging things on the back of the ute. But all is well so far. No pictures because the camera conked out & the whizzbang cheapie camcorder that i bought is more bang than whizz ( shite). Getting ready to lay the sandstone out the front, & playing a fair bit of music,OO OO OO and not smoking any more.

Another day another drop !

Actually did a few hours work on the Tahj Ma Pussy today, untill the rain started . Got all the frame up, now just trying to figure out how to get the mesh  & shade cloth up on my own.
And if my ears & eyes dont decieve me the Constabulary are back on their biyearly hunt for the DEMON WEED. Been hearing helicopters all day over the back of Mt Nardi & spotter planes buzzing high overhead.
Just for once i would like to see a pollice chopper spear into the ground ,mushing all onboard. Maybe then they will change their tack & use those resources & hundreds of  thousands of taxpayer dollars for something that is more benificial to the whole community, like catching real criminals.
On a lighter note Liam & Tanner are coming over this evening, so its all systems go for some frisbee,playstation, computer games & toys. Usually in that order.
So i might just  have a strong cup of tea & a good lie down before the action starts.

Ohhh no rain

Hoo Hoo its stopped at last & the grass has grown so long the dog dissapears when he goes out the back.
Not much to write about  at the moment. i managed  stave off cabin fever & now its back to work. Its guuna be wonderful when this job is finished.
Got my new videocamera sorted. Outside in the light its a ripper, but unfortunately its shortcomings are only too evident in low light situations.The 2mp camera is rubbish & the video is as well. the upside is the controls are very ergononic & simple as. It took me a while but i got my camera glasses happening as soon as i learnt to click slower lol

Warm & moist

Now where was i ??? oh yeh. Its still raining & my $130.00pw scaffold makes a lovely waterfall. Managed to do a couple of hours on Friday, untill the liquid sunshine fell about my ears again. After last weeks shocking adventure i decided to up stumps as soon as the sun went. Which turned out to be fortuious, cos it pissed down as soon as i got in the car.
Saturday's fancy dress party was a hoot. When we arrived i had to carry a big box with lights/cables & a fog machine down a really steep winding driveway. Jeez for a moment i thought i would not be able to stop till i  hit the pool .
Im glad i didnt take my guitar because the three piece band ( big Music i think ) were bloody awesome. They did one of the best renditions of The Letter that i have heard in years. there was also a couple of performers. One did a ball balacing act plus fire twirling. It was quite mesmorising. Another guy did a tap/ trumpet old classic I got Rythm I got Music, which was great..
The party girl Lizzie & two of her girlfriends did a couple of numbers complete with big hair & costumes, which sent the crowd yahooing & hollerin.
I have to say some of the costumes were great & people were really getting into it (myself included).
Gawd the sixties were a good time, i personally tried to recreate the free love aspect.......... to no avail damnitall.
Got pulled over by the booze bus on the way home, a very close call for Shabayah lol, i think the copper looked  at the four ageing hippies in the car & thought bugger it way too much paperwork so at least we made it home safe.
Jeez  even made a profit on the evening. I took my usual bottle of JD, but decided to start with little glasses of champers that were being handed around & stuck with it, then one of the passengers in the car decided she should put $10.00 for petrol. So a full bottle of JD , ten bucks & one joint left at the end of the night is all good.
